Our accessibility goal
Everyone should be able to read the reasoning behind an assessment and find the information they need. Our accessibility goal is to follow WCAG 2.2 Level AA practices as StraightReview develops, with attention to clear content, keyboard access, visual readability and flexible layouts.
This is a design and publishing goal, not a statement of independently certified conformance. A website can pass some automated checks and still contain barriers. We should describe limitations honestly and use reported problems to improve the experience.
The features we aim to maintain
- Pages organized with semantic headings and recognizable navigation.
- A skip link that helps keyboard users reach the main content.
- Keyboard-operable links and controls with visible focus.
- Descriptive link text and text alternatives for informative images.
- Readable color contrast, comfortable text spacing and layouts that adapt to small screens.
- Written findings that do not rely only on a color, an icon or a graphic.
Editorial illustrations support the written explanation; they should not carry essential evidence that is unavailable in text. We aim to write policies and verdicts in plain language, with the most useful information easy to locate.
Scope and limitations
We do not claim that every browser, assistive technology combination or future page has been independently tested. Linked retailer websites and external sources are operated by other services, and their accessibility is outside our control.
Content and layout changes can introduce new problems. Automated checks, visual review and keyboard checks each reveal different issues, so none should be presented as proof of complete accessibility. If a graphic or phrase is difficult to understand, a clearer text explanation may be the most helpful fix.
Tell us about a barrier
Email contact@straightreview.com with the page URL, what you were trying to do and what prevented you. If useful, include your device, browser and any assistive technology involved. You do not need to provide medical information.
You can also ask for a clearer explanation of information on a page. Our aim is to understand the specific barrier and consider a practical improvement. We do not promise a response time or an alternative format that has not been arranged, but relevant accessibility reports should inform future updates.
Clear sources. Useful context. A considered view.
