Who this policy covers

Updated October 24, 2026. StraightReview is published by StraightReview LLC, based in New York, United States. This policy covers our website and editorial communications. It does not cover the separate stores or other services we link to. Privacy questions can be sent to contact@straightreview.com.

You can read our pages without creating an account. This version has no retailer checkout, public review submission form, newsletter registration, added advertising trackers or analytics scripts. Hosting services still handle connection information to deliver and protect pages. An absence of analytics is not an absence of all technical processing.

Information involved in browsing

When your browser requests a page, hosting and delivery services receive technical information such as your IP address, requested URL, request time and browser or device details. That processing supports page delivery, reliability and security. Provider-controlled operational logs and their retention depend on the hosting services and settings.

We do not use the site's page code to create advertising profiles or follow your activity across unrelated websites. We do not receive your retailer order or payment information simply because you follow a store link.

Information you choose to send

If you email us, we receive your email address, the name you use, message contents and any attachments. We use relevant information to understand and respond to the request, investigate corrections or complaints, maintain a proportionate editorial record and address security or legal matters.

Please send only what is needed. Redact passwords, full payment-card details, identity documents and unrelated personal information. A private message or attachment is not automatically published because you send it. Relevant correspondence may inform an investigation without the sender's private details appearing in an article.

Research and published information

Preparing an assessment may involve information from store policies, official records and other publicly available sources. A public source can still contain personal information. Our standard is to include it only where relevant to the assessment and avoid unnecessary private details.

If published information about you appears factually inaccurate or unnecessarily personal, identify the passage and explain the concern. We consider the evidence, editorial relevance and applicable obligations. A request does not automatically require removal of lawful editorial content.

Service providers and disclosures

Hosting, website delivery and communications providers may process information needed to perform their services. This website is hosted through OpenAI Sites using Cloudflare infrastructure. Information about those providers is available in the OpenAI privacy policy and Cloudflare privacy policy; their relevant service arrangements govern provider-controlled processing.

Information may also be disclosed where required by law or reasonably necessary to investigate misuse, protect people or establish or respond to a legal claim. We do not sell reader correspondence or add advertising pixels to this version of the site. Information handled by a provider may be processed where that provider operates; our New York location does not imply that all infrastructure or information stays in New York or the United States.

Retention and security

For information we control, our retention standard is to keep it only while it serves a relevant purpose: resolving a request, maintaining an appropriate editorial accountability record, protecting the service or meeting a legal obligation. Relevant factors include the issue's nature, whether a record remains useful and whether a dispute is ongoing. Provider-controlled logs follow the relevant service arrangements.

No website or email system can promise perfect security. Do not send sensitive documents unless necessary and a suitable transfer method has been agreed.

Cookies, requests and children

Our cookie information explains the scope of our page-code practices. Your browser can inspect, restrict or remove stored site data. External services follow their own policies.

You may ask about information we hold about you, request a correction or ask for deletion at contact@straightreview.com. We assess requests under the laws that apply and may need proportionate verification. Some information may need to be retained for legitimate editorial records or legal obligations.

This is a general-audience consumer information website, not a service designed to collect information from children under 13. Contact us if you believe a child has sent personal information.
