What a StraightReview verdict means
StraightReview publishes editorial assessments of online stores. A conclusion is the publisher's judgement based on the information and scope described in the article. It is not an accreditation, an insurance product, a security certificate or a guarantee about a future transaction.
A positive verdict can coexist with limitations. A store may appear legitimate while an individual order still encounters a delay, a product issue or a disagreement about a return. The useful question is what the evidence supports, rather than whether a review can remove every purchasing risk.
Context for our initial store assessment
The initial Oliver & Blake assessment includes favourable background information supplied by the publisher, alongside the publicly accessible store information discussed in the article. It does not report a completed StraightReview test order, an independent financial audit or a technical security inspection.
Statements about the business being established or having many customers should be understood as publisher-supplied background unless an independent source is identified for that particular claim. The review's source notes and limitations matter just as much as its headline conclusion. The method and verdict for a future store must be based on that store's evidence, rather than inherited from this first assessment.
Publishing tools and illustrations
We use technology, including AI-assisted tools, to support activities such as research organization, drafting, illustration and page production. Tools do not establish a fact simply by producing confident wording. Editorial responsibility remains with the publisher, and material claims need the sources and context described in our editorial standards.
Brand graphics and editorial illustrations are visual explanations, not documentary proof. An illustrative workspace is not a photograph of a StraightReview office. Generated people, if shown in an illustration, must not be presented as named employees, customers or witnesses.
Make checks that match your purchase
Before ordering, confirm that you are using the intended domain, read the current product and delivery details, check the returns policy and choose a payment method with protections appropriate to the transaction. Store information and ownership can change after an assessment date.
If a material fact in an article appears wrong, send the page URL, the relevant passage and supporting evidence to contact@straightreview.com. Our corrections process explains how concerns should be raised. StraightReview cannot process a retailer's refund or guarantee the outcome of a purchase dispute.
Clear sources. Useful context. A considered view.
